Do you remember trek5.com? It offered the best collection of screen captures from Star Trek TVfilms and movies ever seen in the net, along with many thoughtful comments on our beloved show. The site owner was Matt, and we all loved and respected him for his contribution to Trek community. Unfortunately, a day came when, going trustfully to Matt's site, we found this. By now, even this sad farewell is gone and nothing happens if you type "www.trek5.com" on your browser URL bar. Until not long ago you could still see a sample of its former content by trying "trek5.com" in the Google image search form and fully appreciate the loss, now it looks like Google cleaned its database and not even that legacy remains. Even the provided Matt's e-mail address non longer works.
We understand and respect Matt's feelings, but we deeply miss his beautiful site, so we are here to launch the "GIVE US TREK5.COM BACK CAMPAIGN". If you feel that trek5 should be back on line, please take the time to fill the form below, all your comments will be collected and listed in the GUST5BC blackboard. If you own a website, please link to this page and help us to spread the word.
Let's hope Matt will see all our messages someday and be moved by them at least to let us know his current e-mail address.
