The Tale Of Webring

Once Upon A Time
there was Webring. It was easy, nice and funny. Any people was able to create a webring, to design a nice navigation bar and invite other webmaster to join. To join was easy, it helped a site to be known around and improved the site look. You can see below what the old style bars looked like; they gave the feeling of what a ring was intended for. Then "Yahoo!" came, bought Webring and to be part of a ring has become a pain in the back. Please, scroll further down, to the very bottom of this page and look at the ugly thing "Yahoo!" demands to be put on our pages if we want to stay in the a ring. And it not even work. No comment!
