Larry Martin, an official of the government’s secret Inter Planetary Patrol Force, takes off in his flying suit pursuing an invading rocket from Mars.  Marex and Narab, two Zombies, are meeting with their earthly assistants, Roth and Shane. Larry cannot reach the leaving rocket but manages to place a direction – finder at a stolen truck they use to transport equipment from the rocket to a cave. This underwater cave is reached by climbing underwater ladders. The Zombies can do that without the help of an extra breathing – apparatus. A renegade scientist, Dr. Harding, helps them to construct a hydrogen bomb because they have promised a grandiose life on Mars. The bomb would blow the earth out of it’s orbit and make Mars orbiting earth. 
Sue and Bob Wilson assist Larry in his tries to prevent this surviving many dangers, including underwater fights with the Zombies. When the bomb is set to detonate within two hours time the Martians are trying to leave with their rocket, but nearly all are shot in the fight and the rocket is wrecked. The only survivor, Narab, manages to climb out of the wrecked rocket and reveals the location of the bomb to Larry who disconnects it in the underwater cave just before it explodes.
