A young Lady is part of the wagon train. She's fed
up with the primitive living conditions and she wants more attention. At the same time
the wagon train is watched by a group of men looking for prey they could get from
the settlers. They have got an
Indian Scout
with them, whom they call
"Yelloe Bear", "Yellow Belly" and other names. Slim, the
leader of the gang does not respect him at all. But the scout stays because he
wants the whiskey Slim provides
- without letting him take his dignity.
One night Maggie leaves the train (Flint follows
her as soon as they have noticed her absence) and she is spotted and followed by the gang.
They take her along with them. The gang tries to humiliate the scout by forcing him to
laugh or by calling him names.
Later on the scout is fed up with the humiliations and, after Slim has knocked him down,
he kills
him at the end of the fight, while the others are sleeping.
Now the scout goes for the horses further
away from the group and Maggie, who has freed herself, runs into him.
Flint, who has watched for some time, beats him down and takes Maggie back to the wagon
train.
