Mike gets informed that fifty tons of explosives are just before detonating – in a sunken ship. They have until 5 o'clock in the afternoon before the explosion will take place. Police captain Ramon Vargas has caught Luis Hoyo, one of the saboteurs, but was not able to find out where the devices are hidden. They need Mike and his diving experience to stop the detonation. He goes down and later reports to them that the ship is too big to find the fuses without knowing where exactly they are. Luis Hoyo refuses to give away the information. He hesitates after the police captain threatens him to find his family in the hills, but remains quiet. They get the information after they tie Luis Hoyo on a rowboat above the dynamite filled ship. Fearing for his life he desperately shouts his intentions to help stopping the explosion. Time is running out and they need his assistance to show the exact places of the fuses. Mike dives down to the ship with him, not really sure whether he can trust him or not. They disconnect some, but two are to be found. When a current shakes the sunken ship while they disconnected the next, Mike is trapped underneath a fallen heavy container. Having only eye contact with Luis Hoyo, he is not sure whether he'll leave or kill him, but Hoyo is staring at him – wondering what to do. He goes away and comes back with an iron bar to make the container rise as much as he can to get Mike out. This heavy endeavor exhausts Hoyo so much that he has to dive up. Not before indicating to Mike where the fifth fuse has been placed. Still the place is hard to find, but he does and everyone is happy to see his signals of success when he dives up. Right in that moment a huge "explosion" is heard. Everybody is relieved to find out that this was the canon bomb firing it's five shots at 5 o'clock.
