To sell a car Glen Cornell takes it to the buyer and tells his wife,
that this will be an easy sale.
The second hand car dealer Cornell
is later found dead in this car. Suicide is suspected at first, but
his wife is sure it was not. When the case seems to be involved with
drug dealing and dubious car deals, detective Carella suspects murder
and concentrates on the person who wanted to buy the car from Cornell: Barrow. Barrow's girl friend becomes insecure about what to do, but
Barrow forces her to go on with him and his deals. In the end Barrow
and Stella are arrested, Barrow for murdering Glen Cornell.
