Stardate 3025.3
The Enterprise approaches an Earth-type planet. Kirk wonders whether it would
suit for a holiday and a landing party lead by Dr. McCoy beams down. It seems
to be ideal and Dr. McCoy refers to a wonderland, expecting Alice to be around.
Soon she is there, chasing the Big White rabbit.
McCoy tells Kirk about it and Kirk is eager to find out for himself. Down at
the planet he
Encounters his old rival: Finnegan.
Chasing after his old enemy, Kirk meets Ruth,
a former girlfriend of his. Both did not change at all though he had met them
quite long ago.
Sulu is attacked by a Samurai Warrior. When Spock beams down, too, a tiger is
mentioned – and that moment a tiger appears.
McCoy sees a Black Knight.
He is killed by him. As the others investigate the
knight which has fallen from the horse, they discover that it is a puppet. Kirk
is caught by Finnegan, who engages him in a fight. When the fight ends, Kirk has
to admit that he enjoyed it. Kirk and Spock are sure: Anything they think of or wish for becomes real.
Suddenly a man introduces himself to the people. He is the Caretaker of
this planet, where whishes come true, but do not last. That is why McCoy is
soon back amongst the living. Beautiful Ladies appear and everyone enjoys a
well deserved holiday- with carefully chosen wishes.
