Rojek's repressive regime is facing peaceful demonstration of the young generation which is a powerful movement by their message of love and understanding. Special advisor Josef Czerny organizes a special congress which is going to be aired as to demonstrate the country's openness towards the movement, but it is planned to be used to strengthen the oppressive system. The IMF is to expose the regime in front of the youths.

The growing youth cult is lead by the ideas of a freedom fighter who has died, but who's memory lives on: Eduard Malik. His wife, Maria, is kept in a mental institution and receives a coded message from the IMF. Jim is caught as he tries to smuggle a young man out of the country, who is in support of premier Rojek. Under the influence of a drug Jim tells the truth: The man’s real name is Peter Malik, who is believed having died as a child. He is not aware of this fact that he is Eduard Malik's son. Now Rojek makes contact with Peter who undoubtedly proves his disapproval of the youth movement of love and peace. He is told that he is Malik's son.

As this information disturbs the young man, but does not make him change his mind, he is asked to speak at the Youth Congress. Meanwhile Czerny has found out about the grave of Peter Malik. IMF specialist Dr. Valari confirms the authenticity of the scull. This gives Rojek an idea: If that man intends to double cross him, he will double cross him by exposing him as an imposter after his speech. Rojek also takes Maria out of her prison to identify her son.

She hasn't seen her son for years and she has got the message from the IMF and confirms: He may be Peter Malik. The chance for Rojek is to expose her as a liar, too. At the congress "Peter Malik" double double – crosses Rojek by simply doing what he said he would do: He supports him with all his strength. The IMF has an easy part in raising negative moods towards this kind of Peter Malik. But this goes too far for Maria. She stands up and openly declares: "This is not my son!" and fights for her husband's ideas and what she and the young people stand for. Shouting emerges from the crowds: "We want Maria!, We want Maria!" Rojek needs time to realize what happens: The renewal of the movement under lead of Maria Malik, who is safely leaving together with the IMF.
