There is no tape in this episode. The IMF is to uncover "K".

Lady Cora Weston, wife of the elderly Lord Weston, helps her husband with his work as agent trying to get an "unscrambler" to decipher London's U.S. embassy's radio transmissions – by any means as her husband, Lord Weston, wishes. Jim is the communication officer with a gambling habit and Cora is a Lady to be attractive to him. She submits and seems to be used to that kind of "work". Jim's protocol man, Paris, gets close to her, too. The IMF works on a plan to get to "K" via Lady Weston.

It is not planned that Paris sees the person and her needs and desperation behind the facade. He really begins to care for her. In a casino, Jim's urge for gambling is taken care of. Going out with Cora, she leads him into the casino where he looses huge sums of money. Of course, the owner of the casino is acquainted with "K". Trying to find out who "K" is, Jim goes on losing money until he has lost so much that he is forced to sell the unscrambling device. In addition to that, the IMF makes sure that Paris, meanwhile also meeting regularly with Cora, is known by "K" as in charge of all espionage activities and wanted for the theft of millions from a mission in Asia.

Barney prepares a second wall in the cellar where the central heating, in form of a fire place, is situated. It looks as if the real fire is right behind the wall he has built. In the given situation Cora is to care for Jim, pretending to be with him, but in order to get the device, and she is to "deliver" Paris to "K". Obviously she really cares for Paris, but she cannot overcome her chore to sell him to "K". Aware of the fact that her conversation with Paris is videotaped (and Paris waiting for her to make the right choice), she tries to make Paris come over to her side.

They are interrupted by Jim, who is in trouble having lost so much money. It comes to a fight where Jim is it by Paris and falls onto the stones before the fireplace. His head is bleeding (prepared by Barney) and Paris has to confirm the death of his friend. Cora knows that all is videotaped as Paris removes all traces of the incident. He carries Jim downstairs and gets rid of the body – in the fire behind the wall in the cellar. There Jim is received by Barney behind the wall. Back in the room Paris is confronted with the videotape and – having no choice but to work with "K" – taken to him. Now the IMF finds out that "K" is Lord Weston. Their mission accomplished, Paris insists to take out Cora. Jim, disguised as driver rescue both of them, while Lord Weston, knowing that it is over, takes his own life. In the car together with the IMF Cora shares that she wanted to leave the scene. Paris in compassion, but with clarity states: "It is too late".
