A drug (B - 230) is used by Dr. Karl Turek which controls people's minds. Because of the side effects the drug is not yet fully developed. He needs the help of Vera and Dr. Arthur Jarvis, a couple, who have undergone plastic surgery not to be recognized after having committed crimes in the scientific field. Together they would "enslave the whole world" with the drug. The IMF is to stop B - 230. Jim and Meredyth pose as Vera and Arthur Jarvis since the Jarvices had had plastic surgery. Paris prepares all so that the right cards are showing the right names and faces.

Willy plays the person who is under their control during demonstration of their B - 230 to prove it's success. Now Turek fears that the government will fund them instead of him. A fearful Meredyth calls him to tell him that she feels her life is in jeopardy. Arthur had destroyed her part of work in the project and she is sure she'll be killed. Turek can imagine his situation to be quite similar and suggests a plan. Vera "drugs" Arthur and makes him "shoot" their own boss, Colonel Borodin, (using fake bullets). Thinking Jim/Arthur to be drugged he commands him to put the "body" in his car and drive over a hill's edge. As he leaves some prisoner who tried to escape try to stop him. They shoot at the car killing Borodin, the person the IMF hoped to be the main witness in the court case against Turek. Now Paris has to win the court case without Borodin.
