A bomb nuclear reactor in the Federated People's Republic is going to blow up as an atomic bomb because Anton Malek, who's suffering from an incurable decease, has planted a bomb inside which only he can stop.

The IMF make use of the circumstances: The Premier of the country cares that there are pieces of art exhibited in all public and government institutions and places. An artist (Jim) is to install a huge glass window resembling Wai Lee, the premier’s friend, in the nuclear complex.

When the window accidentally broke, Jim is in desperate need of the model. He insists that he cannot work on a new window without her being present. Wai Lee arrives with Paris, who cares for her well being. As Wai Lee sees Malek, she "senses" that he is a very sick man and offers her help. She shares with him about her gift to cure the desease. Malek suddenly gets sick (because Paris has replaced the bottle with serum Malek uses by something else to make sure he would not be able to leave the country before the time Malek has set for the bomb to detonate). And he becomes unconscious. Barney has been building a reactor room near by – identical to the original – which is monitored by Jim. When the building is evacuated, the IMF pretends a collapse of the building, with walls down and stones and dust all over. Malek awakes in the middle of the disaster - Wai Lee beside him. She has convinced him that she'll be able to cure him. This is why Malek now works on disarming the bomb in the room Barney build. Jim describes each step of Malek’s procedure to Barney who does the same on the real thing and can go on even if Malek would change his mind – which he does shortly before detonation.
