In Search Of... Season 4 # 11, D. B. Cooper

In 1971 an aero plane has been skyjacked. Called D. B. Cooper by the media, a man with the name of Dan Cooper jumps from the plane over dense forests with 4 parachutes and $ 200 000. Why is the crime still unsolved?

Dan Cooper entered the plane in Portland. Just after take-off he gave a steward a note demanding $ 200 000 and 4 parachutes. To enforce his demand he opened his briefcase and showed something which appeared to be a bomb. In Seattle Cooper received what he wanted and let the passengers leave the plane. Then the plane started again and the crew was forced to stay in the cockpit. Most possibly Cooper jumped with the parachutes close to a well lit dam and close to streets there. Today nothing more is known than it had been at the time.
