In the
year 421 B.C. Plato wrote about Atlantis: “There occurred violent
earthquakes and floods and in a single day and night of misfortune the
island of Atlantis disappeared into the sea.” Was it a real city, a wondrous
land or a myth? If Atlantis existed it would have been a place where
technology was far more advanced than anywhere on earth. At the Greek island
Santorini remains of a great city were found underneath the lava. The
volcano still erupts at least twice a century. Reading Plato and discovering
the ruins and pots a sudden chilling discovery was made: These ruins fit
Plato’s description of Atlantis with an uncanny accuracy.

Traces of
highly advanced Astronomers were found as described in Plato’s writings. A
clockwork gear fished from the Aegean Sea is part of an ancient computer. It
was used to plot the course of the planets and stars across the skies of
Greece. The first modern computer was built in 1930, but these gears were
built 2.000 years earlier. Based on a highly advance understanding of
physics, mathematics and astronomy, there is nothing else like it in
classical Greek astrology. It might have derived his origin from Plato’s
Atlantis.
But Plato himself indicates that Atlantis must be searched for at the Pillars of Hercules. And these are the rocks of Gibraltar.
What is now sea-bed was once mountain and forest. Searching for Atlantis in the Atlantic Ocean at a place where a huge landmass was bridging the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Remains of cities are found here.
