WOLF TRAP FESTIVAL
TO BOLDLY GO  - 2006, July, 7th, 8:30PM

National Symphony Orchestra
Conductor: Emil de Cou
Narrator: Leonard Nimoy

This is a musical adventure (King Kong, The Twilight Zone, Star Wars, Space Odyssey, Bride of Frankenstein, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Star Trek, a.o.). Giant screens make you encounter "The Planets" (The title taken from Gustav Holst's work and the narration based on a selection of it).
Images of our known cosmos are to be experienced while Leonard Nimoy narrates.
In the end of the first half he reads the introduction from Star Trek V (Final Frontier) and appears on stage.
In the second part Leonard Nimoy reads introductions to the planets and sits while the orchestra plays during the time the planets are shown on the big-screen.
