D’Artagnan (Charles de Baatz d’Artagnan 1623 – 1673) arrives in Paris to become a guardsman of King Louis XIII. To prove his courage he provokes fights with Porthos, Aramis and Athos and is accepted as their friend. Lady de Winter, spying for Richelieu, has given twelve diamonds to the Duke of Buckingham which were a present given to her by the king. The king wants her to wear the jewels at a dance in the near future and D’Artagnan and the three musketeers are to get the jewels back to her before the event takes place, fighting intrigues, diverse obstacles and facing several adventures on the way.
