After an introduction by Gene Roddenberry Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner appear in a Paramount video. Sitting in front of the scene, Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner “fight” with each other over the importance of their roles in Star Trek.

The performance by the fans is added later on. They call this fight illogical and achieve an agreement of both actors.

More fan acting is added to an adventure in which the fans arrive on board of the Enterprise as trainees. DeForest Kelly, Nichelle Nicols, James Doohan, George Takei and Walter Koenig play along here. The fans are soon in charge during a threatening contact with Klingons in space. Successfully they trick the Klingons and save the Enterprise.
 

That way fans get an individually composed adventure to take home.
