GOOD MORNING, AMERICA

Star Trek II is out and "the audience is very broad and I think are really enjoying the picture".

When Mr. Nimoy started playing Spock, he was concerned because he didn't know what the character of Spock was really going to be. "But it worked out well because the character had developed dimension"

Before filming Star Trek II, Mr. Nimoy went to China ('Marco Polo') and Israel ('A Woman called Golda'). "China is fascinating in so many ways"

"The day we finished shooting my scenes in Israel, Sadat was assassinated…A very tense time".

He tries not to maneuver his children in their choice of career. "Work hard and try to be one of the best … It really comes down to whether or not you do a job well."
