Interview after ST II
Scenes from A Woman Called Golda and Marco Polo and pictures from The Body-Snatchers are shown.
People might think you're tired of being typecast?
"People like to make some drama about it. I can understand that. It is more interesting to say 'Leonard Nimoy has got a love-hate relationship with the role' than saying 'Gee, He likes the role and there is no problem'. Why should I dislike Mr. Spock? What is to be disliked about him?"

Vulcans like Spock have no human feelings, that necessitates an emotional eruption by the actor who portrays him.
"I can always predict that I will have some kind of an emotional explosion somewhere along the way, off-camera of course because the character doesn't do that. But that containment that's caused by being suited into that role and made up into that role and contained by the demands of playing that character probably will have to find expression someplace else like a pressure-cooker that's builds up and finally has to let off some steam... If I had to choose between all of the characters I have played in television during the last 15 or 20 years... I would choose Spock. One of the most dignified, charming, intelligent, humorous, rye, stylish characters that has come around in a long time and I hope, it doesn't go away."
