1980 - Nimoy changes uniforms

In 'Seizure' a patient, Kathy Morris (Penelope Milford), challenges Dr. Richard Connought (Leonard Nimoy). It is based on a true story. "The thing that intrigued me was that it was a kind of crossroads in the relationship", said Nimoy who spent some time observing neurosurgeons. "Here is a girl full of life and energy, but physically ill and a guy who has no physically ills but whose personal life has dried up. They have a wonderful effect on each other."

He also observed a brain operation which developed complications. "I could literally feel the tension in the operating room... and in both cases it turned out well."
