About: ST III and directing, the first movie ("Queen for a Day" 1951), the Emmy nomination for Morris Meyerson, the husband of Golda Meir in "A Woman Called Golda" a. o.     "... I lost to Laurence Olivier, so I can't really complain."

Other directing work (The Powers of Matthew Star, Night Gallery, T. J. Hooker and the taping of Vincent for ABC Cable) is mentioned some stage work.

ST I was "a '2001' exploration of the space idea" and  ST II "a takeoff from an episode of the TV series and closer to the 'Star Trek' idea."

On directing ST III: "... to make the characters come more alive... I know the characters and the actors, and I feel I can draw more from them than Robert Wise and Nick Meyer."
