Behind the camera Leonard Nimoy directs operations with the gravity of a man intent on ensuring the survival of the character that made him famous. The film (Search for Spock) has a kind of Wagnerian splendor. A summery of the film follows. What matters is the spirit of the Enterprise (both small and capital "e") and no one is better equipped to perpetuate that spirit than Nimoy.
