Nov. 2007 - CBS Leonard Nimoy Champions the Full – Figured Women

Leonard Nimoy's book "The Full Body Project" is introduced. The Ladies modeling are mainly from a group ("Big Burlesque" appearing in a show: "Fat Bottom Revue". Nimoy says that "This is a direct slap against the modeling and entertainment industries that glamorize the scary skin-size Zero... The average woman weighs 25% more than models showing the clothes. And the cruelest part of it is ... these women are being told 'You don't look right'... The women in this book are very comfortable in their own skin, accept and respect themselves." He hopes that the photos will help to re-define what's really beautiful.
